YEAHHHH!! DRU HILL RULES!! Dru Hill won not one, but TWO Soul
Train Awards! They beat out Boyz II Men (oooh). I didn't see it,
no big surprise, but they also performed the In My Bed Remix with
Da Brat and Jermaine Dupri and had that whole dragon effect going
on with pictures in the background, and these like dancers in
ninja suits or somethin'... Sisqo was wearing some kind of cowboy
outfit, boots and all. Hmmmm. Everyone else was just wearing like
regular pantsuits. Thanks to Candace for the info.

Thanks to The Ultimate Boyz II Men Page, I hear that Dru Hill may
be going on tour starting in April with BOYZ II MEN, and then in
May they will be joined by K-CI AND JO-JO as well as UNCLE
SAM!!!!!!!! Stay tuned for tourdates as soon as they're out.

The American Music Awards: Dru Hill was up for 2 awards but (noooo) they didn't win any! They lost to of course the all-time favorites Boyz II Men and to the what seems like the new favorite Erykah Badu... I kinda really wanted Dru Hill to win though! The good part was that when Boyz II Men went up to get their award, they were like "We REALLY didn't expect to win this one with all those Dru Hill and En Vogue fans out there... and this was definitely Dru Hill's year... so this award is for Boyz II Men and Dru Hill." I was like DAMN!!!! That was hella nyce (even though Dru still shoulda won!!) and I was happy that they did it. (but I woulda been happier if Dru Hill had won! at least Bone won, though... I was going crazy!) The Boyz have class, huh...well I think so. But hey, at least Dru was nominated. Dru Hill also presented an award with Erykah Badu.
DEFINITELY THE KOOLEST NEWS YOU'LL HEAR IN A LONG TIME: I was watching Keenen on Friday and Usher was on it again (but this time he was singin' Nice and Slow and My Way and he did an interview) and he said he is gonna do a '98 "My Way" tour and that they were currently considering artists to do it with, and that one in mind was Dru Hill. Wouldn't that be TIGHT?!?!?!
On an interview, Sisqo said that out of all the Spice Girls he likes Scary Spice (Mel. B) and Nokio likes Baby Spice. Ewwww! I hate Baby Spice! Actually, I don't like any of them

When Dru Hill was on BET's Planet Groove, the host asked them what kind of girls they liked. Nokio said "she has to be prepared to be my wife", Sisqo said "She has to be short and and have a good personality", Woody said "She needs to be a beautiful person on the inside and have a good personality" and Jazz said that "She needs to have a good personality". All 4 of 'em said she had to be FINE and like short people!

K-Ci and Jo-Jo were heard on the radio a while ago in DC and they were saying that Dru Hill is a Jodeci rip-off and that when Jodeci got back together they were gonna destroy Dru Hill for stealing their whole style. Anyways! I like Jodeci but if you ask me I wouldn't say that Dru Hill is a total Jodeci rip-off.
On the 27th of Dec. they were on the Nickelodeon show "All That" and its supposed to rerun again soon. They sang "We're Not Making Love No More"

They can do it again, except... they are up against...ummmm...Boyz II Men... one of my...ummmm...other favorites...but...we'll see, right?? 09/12/97: Yesterday at the Billboard Awards Dru Hill won the
award for best R&B Single, for "In My Bed". They
were up against "G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T." (Changing Faces),
"I'll Be Missing You" (Puff Daddy and Faith w/112), and
"Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" (Puffy feat. Mase). OHHHH
YEAHHH!!!! THEY WON!! They were also nominated for Best New
Artist against Puffy Daddy, Hanson and the Spice Girls!! Like
what kinda competiton is that!! I can't believe they lost to the
SPICE GIRLS!! EWWWWW!! And I didn't even gte to watch it!! I know
I woulda been screaming and screaming... but you know the deal, a
girl gotta study so she can eat later on in her life... anyway,
I'll borrow a tape from someone. It ain't the end of the world. I
don't get to see half the stuff they one. At least they didn't
perform, though.
Everybody's favorite group is gonna be on the Billboard Music Awards on Dec. 8th!! They are also gonna be on at the Apollo on Dec. 13th.
Dru Hill is gonna be on BET on December 5th at 11:00 pm on somethin' called South Beach. IT will also have Luke on it (he was on the Christmas album with them).

The first guy was sayin that they can sing and all but they can't think of anything to sing about, so they go back to their childhood to think of songs...hence...In My Bed (Somebody's sleepin' in my bed...Goldilocks and the 3 bears!!) He said how the girls are probably sitting in his chair and eating his porridge too! Then he went on to say that if 2 women were sleeping in his bed, he'd make up a whole new rhyme...Hey diddle, diddle get the weewee in the middle...hahahah The second guy was just dissing the song In My Bed, sayin stuff like that if he found someone in his bed he would have knocked the shit outta them and how the guy in the video (Sisqo) hadn't done anything about it at all. Maybe he didn't see the end end of the video, where Sisqo (ahem) goes back up the stairs...
Dru Hill is definitely making a video for "We're Not Making Love No More" (my FAVORITE!! haha) and already started shooting for it in LA. I heard also that they are making one with Mariah Carey for "Beautiful Ones".

Ohhh "We're Not Making Love No More" is the song from the Soul Food soundtrack, you can get the lyrics here. I'm saying, that song is the tightest . And I'm not just saying that now it's my favorite Dru Hill song I can't stop playin it.

They were recently on the Keenen Ivory Wayans show and they are supposed to be on Vibe this coming Tuesday, and they are on the season premiere of Moesha (also on Tuesday).
The "Never Make a Promise" video is out. I thought it was okay, nothing special. If ya'll ever remeber watching "Family Matters", Myra is Jazz's girlfriend in the video.
